Add Electronic Signatures to Existing Systems

An organization may already have a modern document management system while still missing electronic signatures. AMODIT TrustCenter extends the existing environment through integration, without requiring the organization to replace its current systems.

AMODIT TrustCenter electronic-signature integration for an existing business system
  • AMODIT TrustCenter is a cloud service for electronically signing business documents.
  • Documents can come from multiple sources, including AMODIT, CRM, ERP and custom business systems.
  • REST API integration provides direct communication with business applications.
  • Business value includes lower paper-handling costs, faster signing, flexibility and process control.

AMODIT TrustCenter

AMODIT TrustCenter is a cloud service for electronically signing business documents. It complies with the European eIDAS regulation. Its REST API connects the service to any IT system, including the AMODIT platform, CRM, ERP and custom applications. Documents can come from different sources while the signature process remains fast, secure and convenient.

REST API integration

AMODIT TrustCenter operates as a standalone document-signing service that communicates with other applications through a REST API. The calling system sends the document and the parameters required for the process:

  • the signers and their roles, including signer, initialer and observer;
  • whether signatures must follow a defined order or can be collected in parallel;
  • the signature types allowed for the document;
  • whether reminders are sent and how often;
  • the signing deadline, after which the document can no longer be signed;
  • the language used in email messages to process participants.

This configuration adapts the signing process to organizational requirements and provides control over each operation.

A straightforward signing process

The process starts with a prepared document and a list of signers, plus initialers and observers when required. The calling system sends the data to AMODIT TrustCenter. TrustCenter then generates and sends each participant a link to review the document and open the signing panel.

Users can apply any permitted signature type: simple, handwritten, qualified or one-time qualified. They do not need to create an account or complete a complex configuration. Access requires the link sent to the specified address and authorization with an SMS code.

Business benefits

  • Lower costs: removes printing and paper-delivery expenses.
  • Less processing time: keeps the signature process moving without physical document handoffs.
  • Flexibility: participants can sign from any location and device.
  • Security: supports eIDAS-compliant signing and document integrity.
  • Control: tracks signature status and manages the process through the API.

AMODIT TrustCenter adds electronic signatures while preserving the organization's existing tools and infrastructure.
