Introduction
Polskie Centrum Badań i Certyfikacji Spółka Akcyjna (PCBC S.A.) is a company with over sixty years of tradition. Established as a sole proprietorship of the State Treasury on October 31, 2002, it replaced the state organizational unit of the same name. Headquartered in Warsaw, with additional offices in Gdańsk and Piła, the company is a key player in certification and conformity assessment.
PCBC is a partner of prestigious international organizations, including the International Certification Network (IQNET), and its certificates are globally recognized.
The company operates in domestic, European, and global markets, with a significant portion of 2022 sales coming from non-EU countries.
PCBC’s Services Include:
- Management system certification,
- Product certification for compliance with applicable standards and quality marks,
- Organic farming certification,
- Product conformity assessment,
- Operation of two accredited testing laboratories (the fertilizer and chemical products laboratory in Piła and the construction products laboratory in Gdańsk),

We decided to implement AMODIT for its ability to provide transparent information flow for all users involved in the process. Our goal was to improve control over document circulation and reduce the time required to complete various tasks. Additionally, we valued the easier access to historical data and the comprehensive overview of each process’s history.

- Controlled verification of documents in electronic form without the need to retrieve physical copies from accounting.
- Streamlined collaboration with contractors, who can now send invoices directly to a dedicated email address, bypassing the need to send them to an employee’s address, thus reducing document circulation time.
Business Travel Assignment Module:
- Simplified reporting of business trips via a centralized register of all business travel assignments.
- Ability to prepare and settle business travel electronically.
- Automatic calculation of per diems and business travel expenses.
- Intelligent notifications, e.g., reminders to pay an advance, absence from work during the trip, approval and settlement updates, hotel bookings, or international travel insurance needs.
Correspondence Module:
- Quick and convenient registration of documents in an electronic central register of incoming and outgoing letters, replacing the paper correspondence book.
- Integration with the Poczta Polska eNadawca module.
- Access to ready-made templates.
Contract Module:
- Convenient content preview in a central contract register.
- Streamlined information flow among all participants.
- Easy management of contract access permissions.
- Improved contract timeliness through intelligent reminders for expiring contracts.
Additionally, in all the above areas, employees have the ability to generate reports and set reporting options.
After several months of post-implementation observations, we have concluded that the digitalization of document workflows has greatly streamlined company management and enhanced team efficiency.
The company plans to develop a comprehensive IT system that will encompass most aspects of its operations. Future plans include upgrading existing modules and introducing new processes, such as fleet management for company vehicles, property management, system documentation, and initiatives focused on enhancing employee skills.
