Locale-Safe Date Rules

Date operations in AMODIT rules require care because the platform supports multiple languages and each locale can display and interpret dates differently.

Avoid Locale-Dependent Date Strings

A Polish locale can display a date as yyyy-mm-dd, while US English typically uses mm/dd/yyyy. A direct string comparison is therefore risky:

[To]>="2014-05-02"

Use an explicit date value instead:

[To]>=DateTime(2014,5,2)

This prevents the rule from interpreting the same date differently after a language change.
