Document Generation
AMODIT 2.7 introduced a Convert to PDF option for document templates. When enabled, users download a generated PDF instead of the Word or Excel source file.
Generate a Traceable PDF
Before conversion, AMODIT replaces the template's merge fields with values from the case form. It then adds the case number, document creation date, creator, and checksum to every PDF page. The same information is encoded in a QR code.
This historical feature is designed for contracts and quotes generated from approved templates, where recipients should receive the produced PDF rather than an editable source file.
